I am very happy with both types of bags. I like the "ear-tie" function of the doggie bags, and equally appreciate the drawstring trash bags. They are strong, flexible, and equal to all the non-compostable bags you have tried.

Not too small and tough enough with a fit that doesn’t collapse
I love these bags! The strong side seams, size, and drawstring top, make it good for many uses. I compost all my food scraps at home without bags but I need bags for other uses, like shopping, hauling bulk veggies and other foods from the market to my kitchen storage jars and freezer. The bags are easy to carry around, take up little space, and I can use them as a shopping bag or laundry bag in a pinch because they are tough. When they get torn to shreds or are otherwise beyond using, I can compost them! Does it get any better than that!
These bio bags are very sturdy. I use these for my small trash bins in my bathroom and compost pail. These are not so stretchy and thin that they start breaking down too early, or tearing when I'm taking them out to dispose of them. I'm happy I can across this brand and will re-order when I've used them up!
These green bags as always a pleasure to use. They feel great and smooth in hand, and fit my small trash bins well. They are a bit more costly than regular plastic bags, but make up for that with the premium experience.

These bags are so much better than the smaller size from a different manufacturer. These don't tear when you open them and hold up for a reasonable amount of waste.
